Hey, I'm Sean
I'm a pretty normal, 30-something guy, trying to be better at life. I'm rarely without a book, video, podcast, audiobook etc to pick up something new. Around 3 or 4 years ago, I went on a bit of a self-improvement kick and taught myself all sorts. Now I'm using the skills I've learned to further my professional career and enhancing my personal life. I'm still learning new things everyday. I'll never stop learning, and I try to surround myself with others that can teach me and help me be better.
🚧 Warning - A bit of a cliché 🚧
My dad once told me if I'm the smartest person in the room, I'm in the wrong room. He was right.
If someone asked you what motivates you, what would you say? For me, it is achievement - seeing the end result of something. I like to look back at projects, goals, or even a hobby and say 'I did that'. I believe that hard work pays off. Do a good job and people will notice (I'll admit, though sometimes it takes longer than I'd like). I don't believe in 'that will do'. I refuse to lower my standards and compromise my ethics for a short win. Call me a perfectionist, I guess
Feel free to check out my Improvement List to see what I've achieved, and will achieve in the future.
